Today, I am starting the “crochet Halloween accessories” pattern series. Let’s start with this crochet dark red spiderweb bandana that can be used both as a jean bandana and a headscarf bandana. The mesh pattern to crochet the cobweb pattern of this crochet spiderweb bandana is much easier. You can style it in your own way, and the pattern will make quite a large crochet bandana. Since the pattern is repetitive, you can also make it smaller than that for the kids, too. You can make this spiderweb bandana in less than 30 minutes.
Just follow the round pattern to your desired number of rounds and make the triangle mesh edging at the end. This crochet spiderweb bandana has chain stitch cords, too.

This crochet spiderweb headscarf has been one of the trendiest crochet Halloween projects, and you can also make one in purple, orange, and even white. Soon, I am also planning to share the spiderweb arm accessory with a crochet spider pattern. For now, let’s crochet this large spider web bandana for absolute beginners. You can follow both the step-by-step tutorial + a written pattern as well.

Finishing & Ties (Dori)
Top Edge Border: Do not fasten off yet. You will now finish the flat, straight edge of the bandana. Work 2 SC into the side of each edge gap/post all the way across the straight top edge to give it a clean border.
First Tie: Once you reach the corner of the top edge, CH 100 to create the tie string (length can be adjusted to your preference). Fasten off.

Second Tie: Attach your yarn to the opposite corner of the top edge. CH 100 to create the second tie string. Fasten off.
Weave Ends: Hide all loose ends with your darning needle. You can secure the final knots with a tiny drop of fabric glue so they do not open over time.
