Let me introduce you to the crochet googly-eyed & chonky creepy ghost amigurumi keychain! This is a slightly funny and spooky crochet ghost; you can crochet it in about 20 minutes with little sewing needed. Be sure to make this quirky little ghost your trick-or-treating bag charm for Halloween.
Features creepy embroidery: open mouth with the SPOOKY teeth and the tongue, as well as the funny joined & angry eyebrows. You can crochet your creepy ghost with or without the stuffed tiny arms.

Pattern to Crochet the Quirkiest Ghost for Beginners
This project is to make a ghost keychain. You will use white yarn to make a round ball for the body. You will make two small arms and one tail. You will use black thread to sew a mean face with teeth. You will use red yarn to make a tongue. You will put soft stuffing inside the body. You will add a metal ring for keys. This is a small and fast project.
Materials List
Yarn: White yarn (medium weight) and a small amount of red yarn for the tongue.
Crochet Hook: 2.5mm or 3.0mm hook.
Eyes: 2 small black safety eyes or beads.
Thread: Black embroidery thread or thin black yarn.
Tools: Scissors, yarn needle, fiberfill stuffing, and a hot glue gun.

Crochet Pattern
Main Body (White Yarn)
R1: Create a MR, Ch1. Work 5 sc into the ring. Slst to the first st to join. [5 sts]
R2: Ch1, 2 sc in each st around. Slst to join. [10 sts]
R3: Ch1, (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [15 sts]
R4: Ch1, (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [20 sts]
R5: Ch1, (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [25 sts]
R6–R8: Ch1, sc in each st around (no increases). Slst to join. [25 sts]
R9: Ch1, (3 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [20 sts]
R10: Ch1, (2 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [15 sts]
R11: Ch1, (1 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times. Slst to join. [10 sts]
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill. Use a needle to weave the tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close the hole.
Arms (Make 2 – White Yarn)
R1: Create a MR, Ch1. Work 6 sc into the ring. Slst to join. [6 sts]
R2–R3: Sc in each st around. Slst to join. [6 sts]
Fasten off and leave a tail for gluing or sewing.
Tail (Make 1 – White Yarn)
R1: Create a MR, Ch1. Work 7 sc into the ring. Slst to join. [7 sts]
R2: Ch1, (1 sc, 1 dec) repeat 2 times, then 1 sc. Slst to join. [5 sts]
Fasten off and leave a tail.
Assembly and Face Details
Eyes: Glue or attach the safety eyes between R4 and R5, about 2-3 stitches apart.
Eyebrows: Using black embroidery thread, sew two slanted lines above the eyes to create an “angry” or “evil” look.
Mouth and Teeth:
Sew a wide horizontal black line for the mouth.
Create a zigzag pattern across the line to look like sharp teeth.
Tongue: Using a needle and red yarn, sew a small loop or a solid red triangle at the bottom center of the mouth.
Attaching Parts:
Use the hot glue gun to attach the arms to the sides of the body.
Glue the tail to the back of the body, centered between the arms.
Keychain Hardware:
Use pliers to open the small jump ring on the keychain.
Poke the ring through the top center of the ghost’s head.
Close the ring securely.
