Let me introduce the crochet KAWAII ghost wearing a fall leaf crown that you can learn how to crochet by following this video tutorial + a written guide as well. Crochet this baby ghost amigurumi to make one’s autumn even more special (it is just so cute!).

The fall crown of this crochet ghost puppet is crocheted from 4 basic leaves in orange, light green, dark green, and golden yellow. Unlike the pumpkin ghost, these leaves bring all fall colors to this irresistible Halloween present.

The no-sew body is the same classic boo ghost with a ruffled skirt that you can crochet in minutes. I also recommend sewing the embroidered blush on its cheeks and crocheting your fall ghost using the thin plush yarn. Pattern Instructions

1. Ghost Body (White Yarn)

The body is worked as one long tube that will eventually be folded to create a double-layered effect with a “waist.”

R1: mr, 8sc (8)
R2: [inc] x 8 (16)
R3: [1sc, inc] x 8 (24)
R4: [2sc, inc] x 8 (32)

R5–R18: 32sc (32) — 14 rounds of plain single crochet.
R19: [6sc, dec] x 4 (28) — This round starts the “neck/hinge” area.
R20: 28sc (28)

R21: [6sc, inc] x 4 (32) — Expanding back to the body width.
R22–R32: 32sc (32) — 11 rounds of plain single crochet.
R33: [inc] x 32 (64) — Starting the ruffles.

R34: 64sc (64)
R35: [inc] x 64 (128) — Creates the dense ruffle at the base.
Fasten off and leave a tail for finishing.

2. Eyes (Black Yarn – Make 2)

R1: mr, 5sc.
Pull the ring tight, slip stitch to the first stitch, and fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

3. Leaves (Autumn Colors – Make 4)

Note: While the specific leaf stitch counts aren’t detailed in the video overlays, a standard crochet leaf is typically made as follows:
Chain 7.
Starting in 2nd chain from hook: sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc.
Chain 1, work down the other side of the chain: sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc.
Fasten off.

Assembly

Folding the Body: Take the “top” half (rounds 1–18) and push it down inside the “bottom” half (rounds 21–35). The decrease/increase area at rounds 19–20 creates a natural fold or “waistline” for the ghost’s head.
Securing the Layers: As shown at 08:09, use your needle and white yarn to sew through both layers of the folded body. This holds the inner part in place and helps shape the ghost.
Attaching Eyes: Position the two black eyes on the front of the ghost’s head (roughly around rounds 10–12 of the outer layer). Sew them firmly in place.
Attaching Leaves: Bundle your four colored leaves and sew them to the very top center of the ghost’s head to finish the look.
