If you are looking for the easiest, fastest, and still cutest baby ghost pattern, try this crochet quirky ghost keychain! It is a small no-sew baby ghost with two different-sized eyes that make it look mysterious, out-of-the-world, and CUTE all at the same time. You will be surprised by how quick and beginner-friendly this pattern is. Crochet this Halloween ghost charm as a last-minute gift for a little girl, a chocolate ball in it, or attach it to a trick-or-treat bag.

Unlike the ruffled-skirt ghost, this crochet miniature ghost puppet does not require working in the BLO. You can also turn it into a crochet hat for your small amigurumi dolls.

This crochet baby ghost is one of the patterns I wanted to share from last year’s Halloween but could not. It is practically the fastest crochet ghost charm pattern I have ever covered, both here and on other blogs. You can also charm up your ghost by crocheting a small pumpkin out of a rectangle for yours. Pattern to Crochet the Fall Mini Ghost

Skill Level: Beginner – Level 2

Materials

Yarn: White Cotton (5-ply)
Hook: 3.0mm
Safety Eyes: One 4mm eye and one 8mm eye (to create the asymmetrical look)
Other Tools: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker, and a keychain ring.

inc: Increase (2 single crochets in the same stitch)

Pattern Instructions

Round 1: Start with a magic ring. Work 6 sc into the ring. Pull the tail to close the ring. [6]
Round 2: 6 inc. [12]

Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times. [18]
Round 4: (1 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc) repeat 6 times. [24]

Rounds 5–11: 1 sc in each stitch around (Total of 7 rounds). [24]
Round 12: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 12 times around. [36]
Round 13: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 18 times around. [54]
Round 14: 1 sc in each stitch around. [54]

Finishing the Body:

Cut the yarn, leaving a short tail.
Use a yarn needle to weave in the ends to create a seamless finish at the base of the ghost.

Assembly

Placement of Eyes: Identify the front of your ghost. Insert the safety eyes between Rounds 7 and 8.
- Place the 4mm eye on one side.

- Place the 8mm eye on the other side, leaving about 2-3 stitches between them.
- Secure them firmly with the plastic backings inside the ghost.
Attaching the Keychain: Use the jump ring of your keychain to hook into the very top center of the ghost (Round 1). Use pliers or your fingers to close the ring securely.
