Learn how to crochet a cat pumpkin for Halloween. First, you chain twenty-seven and crochet a large flat rectangle using half double crochet stitches worked only in the back loops to create a ribbed texture.

You join the short sides to form a cylinder, attach safety eyes and a safety nose, and sew on white eye highlights and green yarn whiskers.

Next, you pass yarn through the edges to cinch the top and bottom closed around fiberfill stuffing, weaving yarn. Finally, you crochet and attach a green stem and two cat ears.
