This tutorial teaches how to make a crochet pumpkin with vine bookmark. You can add a face to turn it into a Halloween gift item. The project uses a 3.5 mm hook and cotton yarn.

First, make a magic ring with orange yarn and do twelve half double crochets. Next, increase the stitches to 24.

Shape the pumpkin using double crochets, half double crochets, single crochets, and slip stitches. After this, change the yarn color to green for the stem, chain, and leaf. Finally, stitch triangle eyes and a smile using black yarn and a needle to finish the bookmark.
