You all liked the large crochet pumpkin turtle plushie a lot. But if you are a busy maker and want to crochet a cute pumpkin shell turtle as a softie gift this Halloween, today’s featured no-sew crochet tutorial is for you. So, with a step-by-step tutorial, learn how to crochet this miniature pumpkin or pear fruit plushie in less than 30 minutes.

I like the orange and parrot combo a lot. With the super bulky yarn and the no-sew pattern, this is the easiest crochet softie gift for absolute beginners.

For crocheting the pumpkin variation, all you have to do is crochet a small stem and make the ridges using thread. Anyway, I would recommend crocheting both of these plush turtles by following the same tutorial.

Tutorial to Crochet the Plush Little Turtle Pumpkin

This tutorial teaches you how to crochet a plush turtle with a pumpkin shell. You start by making four flippers, a head, a tail, and a brown stem using soft plush yarn.

Next, you crochet the pumpkin shell in orange yarn, creating ridges so it looks like a real pumpkin.

Then, you attach the legs, tail, and head directly onto the body while crocheting in rounds. Finally, you insert safety eyes into the head, stuff the body with fiberfill, and sew the remaining openings closed. The end result is a soft pumpkin turtle toy.
