In Rounds 8 and 11, the hands and feet are worked seamlessly into the round using a 4-yarn-over cluster (puff-style popcorn):

  1. Yarn Over: Wrap the working yarn over your hook.

  2. Insert & Draw Up (1st time): Insert your hook into the indicated stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop to the height of your working row (3 loops on hook).

  3. Repeat (2nd time): Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch, yarn over, and pull up another loop (5 loops on hook).

  4. Repeat (3rd time): Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch, yarn over, and pull up another loop (7 loops on hook).

  5. Repeat (4th time): Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch for the final time, yarn over, and pull up another loop (9 loops on hook).

  6. Pull Through & Secure: Yarn over and carefully draw the yarn through all 9 loops on the hook. Chain 1 to lock the puff cluster tightly.

  7. Resume Round: Work your next single crochet into the following stitch as normal, pushing the puff stitch outward toward the front of the work to form the rounded hand or foot.
