In today’s part of the “spooky crochet plushies for spooky event” series, learn how to crochet this trio of medium-sized spider plushies, including green, black, and white variations! This is one of the easiest crochet spider plushie designs I have covered this year after the “chubby crochet spider plushies.” This crochet plush does not need to be made with any complicated shapes. This time, we will be using the glitter eyes for both the two middle larger eyes and the extremely smaller safety eyes. Crochet all three of these spider plushies this Halloween to make a spooky-cute table centrepiece.

And kids might already be looking for some spooky and soft Halloween gifts, so prepare one for a little one, too. It is the best beginner crochet Spider plush pattern, as all the crochet spider legs require the same pattern and the body shaping is much like you are crocheting a plush sphere.

Tutorial to Crochet the Mini 8-Legged Spider Plushie

This tutorial explains how to crochet an amigurumi spider. First, crochet eight legs using chenille yarn by chaining two and working five single crochets, followed by seven rows.

Create two fangs using a similar method for two rows.

The body is crocheted in one piece starting at the nose, increasing in the round. Attach safety eyes early on. The legs are joined directly by crocheting them into the body as you work. Then, increase to shape the abdomen, work even rounds, and decrease to close. Finally, stuff with fiberfill and sew the fangs below the eyes.
