Here is another part of the crochet “pop coasters” series! This time, we will be making a FUNNY and more anti-stress flip-over coaster. Introducing the versatile 2-in-1 flip-over rat and opossum coaster that doubles as a playful “roadkill”-style flat plush with a FREE written pattern for all skill levels. It makes a perfect anti-stress buddy for gifting and can be crocheted in under 30 minutes. The project begins with a slightly domed circular coaster base worked in joined rounds using double and half double crochets.

After marking attachment points, the tapered tail and four legs are crocheted directly off the coaster rim, ending with delicate slip-stitch toes.

A tapered 3D amigurumi head is worked, stuffed, and seamed flat along the opening. Finally, ears, eyes, nose embroidery, and tongue details are created and assembled onto the base.
