This is the last basket variation from the crochet “festive character gift basket and decorations” series. Today, learn how to crochet our favorite, the crochet snowman in a winter hat gift basket and decoration, by following an ad-free written pattern and a tutorial as well. This small crochet snowman holding a large basket is wearing a beanie hat, a red and green I-cord scarf, and has a CUTE smile.

Why: The basic stitches are simple (chains and single crochet), but the project requires several different techniques: working in the round and in rows, working in the back loops only (BLO), changing yarn colors, inserting wire and fiberfill into thin limbs, and using hot glue and sewing needles to assemble multiple parts together cleanly.
