Learn how to crochet a Sunflower, a tulip, and a Sakura flower bag charm with free video patterns. These are probably the most elegant and easiest variations of these flowers. You will become fond of their brightness, petal patterns, and colors.

For the sunflower alone, I have ranged three versions based on the difficulty level. So, you can try the one you are comfortable with. They are perfect for hanging from your tote bag in summer and spring. There will also be a custom flower pattern that’s not to miss.

Crochet a Sunflower Charm (Version 1)

Sunflowers usually bloom from mid-summer to early autumn. So, you can welcome the summer with this simple version of a sunflower bag charm.

The design features a one-piece stuffed sunflower, a pair of crochet leaves, and a loop of crochet string.

The loop makes it possible to hang this bright charm from the handle of your tote bag.

To crochet it, first make two round curved rounds in brown and green, stuff and sew them, and then work the petals around.

Try the easiest method to crochet a mini tulip bag charm for spring. This design features a pair of stuffed tulips and again leaves, at the top, and a loop of the crochet string.

Whether you try a blue, yellow, or pink tulip, this flower charm looks magnificent.

For the clever method, crochet a tube, stuff it, and pinch-sew the top of the tulip. That’s it. Unlike other methods, it is one-piece and a must-try for beginners. Wanna crochet it?

Crochet A Sunflower Charm (Version 2)

This version of the crochet sunflower bag charm uses the same pattern for the flower and leaves as the first one. The design is pretty creative and elegant.

In addition to the sunflower and leaves, we shall crochet a single flower bouquet wrap from a rectangle and a chain row bow knot.

You can also crochet it as a vase sunflower by gluing a craft wire wrapped with thin green yarn. This will also be a wedding gift and can be customized for other flowers like roses and daisies.

Crochet An Easy Flower Charm

Let’s crochet an easy three-round Sakura flower with basic stitches and shell stitch in the third round. This is a 5-petal no-sew pattern and can also be used to crochet a coffee cup coaster, as the flower is completely flat.

The designer also attached a small chain loop to attach a keyring and basic crochet leaves. While yellow and red yarns work awesome for the Lunar New Year, for perfect Sakura, use two shades of pink.

Crochet A Custom Flower Charm

To me, this is the most well-designed and elegant crocheted custom flower. With five overlapping petals, the blush on the petals, pink edging, and the yellow centre, it seems to be inspired by the Sakura.

However, you can also crochet a blue version with a small leaf and a hanging loop. The crab stitch edging makes it look awesome and a little 3D. Such a look can’t be acheived other way. Will you crochet it?

Crochet A Sunflower Charm (Version 3)

With the two layers of petals, puff stitch, hanging stitch, and small sunflower applique, this version of the sunflower charm is truly unmatched. If you are a beginner, I recommend staying with the first two versions.

This can also be turned into a small sunflower pcoin purse. Even as a bag charm, it is kind of overly detailed (in a positive way). So, you will love crocheting it.
