No time of the year is as suitable for crocheting as spring. So, you want to sit aside and crochet whatever you find pleasing, sometimes, beyond the flower.

While I have already shown you plenty of projects to crochet for spring, it never hurts to take a look at quick and mini projects for spring.

You can definitely find some time for these, as most can be finished in less than 30 minutes.

So, let me show you these ways to crochet small things for spring. From a cherry keychain to a bee amigurumi, you can even learn crocheting a bow.

Pattern #1: Crochet A Cherry Charm

While cherries ripen in summer, spring is the perfect time to crochet them along with Cherry Blossom. You can try this mini cherry with a beautiful couquette bow knot bag charm pattern.

To crochet the cherry, you only need the traditional sphere pattern, which is one of the earliest amigurumi patterns every beginner learns. As for stems, they will be crocheted as a row of chain stitches.

The couquette bow, however, needs the I-cord pattern. However, it is easy to crochet, too. Wanna try this quick and cute project this spring?

Pattern #2: Crochet A Bee Amigurumi

This crochet kawaii bumblebee doll is the only spring buddy you need. This is so cute to look at and small enough to be used as a bag charm.

Unlike most amigurumi bees, this bee doll has a separate head and body. It also has a tiny stinger at the bottom as a fun detail.

You can also crochet a small hanging loop and attach it on the head of the bee. With the head size larger than the body, plus blush and smile, it is the kawaiiest amigurumi bee.

Pattern #3: Crochet A Bow

This crochet lacy bow is undoubtedly the most elegant variation of the coquette bow for hair ties. It is not difficult to crochet, though.

We will be crocheting basic mesh stitch rectangles with slip stitch shell edging. A total of three such rectangles are needed.

The most clever part is the assembly: join the sides of the longest rectangle, then wrap the thin rectangle around both. You can also crochet this bow for pillows and bag charms.

Pattern #4: Crochet A Flower for a Vase

With this pattern, crochet a perfectly accurate ping pong flower for your spring decoration. Normally, you won’t find the Chrysanthemum ping pong during spring as they are cool-weather flowers. So, put this eternal and life-like crochet ping pong in your vase.

You will want to cover craft wire stems with thinner yarn than used for crocheting the flower. The construction is quite clever.

We will first crochet the round base bud and then crochet the ruffled petals all around. Which one is your favorite color for this flower? Purple, white, yellow or pink?

Pattern #5: Crochet A Rose for a Vase

This big crochet Love rose is the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift you will want to crochet. You can learn it in a few minutes, both with solid and gradient petals. Prepare it as a Diamond Rose or Ring Rose for Him/Her.

There are three sizes of petals to crochet, including small, medium, and large. With each petal ruffled and many in number, you will have a bulky crochet rose that’s impossible to find in nature.

There is also a separate sepal and leaf pattern. You have to glue the rose to the wrapped craft wire when finished. The glue gun will work best for assembly. Wanna crochet?

Pattern #6: Crochet A Stuffed Flower

Let’s crochet a 3D assemblable daisy flower with a bendable stem. It is a perfect stress toy and bag charm you can hold throughout the spring.

To make the stem bendable, insert craft wires during stuffing and keep the stuffing light.

The flower is not crocheted as a single piece but as multiple stuffed petals that are sewn together at the end. The stuffed centre is also an add-on. You can easily crochet it in 30 minutes.

Pattern #7: Crochet A Rose (Version 2)

This big crochet rose is a variation of the Love Rose that will make a not-to-be-missed decoration for spring.

The construction method is similar but more detailed and bulkier, with better sepal and crochet leaves. Make your room lively by putting it in your vase.
