This year’s first crochet gnome plushie and amigurumi will be today’s crochet UNIQUE Santa Claus toy gnome plushie, made from super bulky chennile yarn. I am sharing this crochet gnome plush tutorial because it makes a last-minute gift and ornament with its no-sew and fast pattern for beginners. The lower body, torso, belt, and head are worked continuously in one piece, while the hat is attached directly at the top.

A cute, small beard is separately crocheted and sewn beneath the facial nose feature. The finished Santa Claus toy measures up to 9 centimeters in height, making it compact enough to be used as a Christmas tree ornament, a festive bag charm, or a lovely holiday decoration.

You can learn to crochet this plush in a few minutes and crochet yours in a few minutes as well. Can be crocheted in bulk for selling at the Christmas market as well. Now, continue reading for learning more about this crochet plush Santa project for all skill levels!

Pattern to Crochet the Plush Santa Gnome Plushies

Level: Easy / Beginner-Friendly

Explanation: This project is considered easy because the main body, belt section, and head are crocheted continuously as a single piece. Since separate limbs do not need to be individually constructed and attached to the torso, the traditional challenge of complex alignment is avoided, though minor sewing is used for the hat and beard.
