Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.

2. Side Fins (Make 2 — Yarn: Blue / Green)

3. Dorsal Fin (Make 2 — Yarn: Blue)
Base Piece: Ch 12, turn. Starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3 hdc, 1 slst, ch 2, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 1 slst.
Assembly: Place both dorsal fin pieces parallel and sew them together along the edge to double the thickness. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing onto the top of the head.

4. Lips (Yarn: Pink)
Round 1: Ch 25, join to the first chain with a slst to form a ring (ensure no twist). Work 25 sc around [25]
Rounds 2–4 (3 rounds): 25 sc [25]
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew onto the face.

5. Eyes (Make 2 — Yarn: White)
Round 1: MR, 6 sc [6]
Round 2: 6 inc [12]
Slst to first stitch, fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Insert 7 mm safety eyes into the center of each white eye piece.

6. Swim Goggles (Yarn: Green / Accent)
Lens 1: MR, R1: 6 sc [6], R2: 6 inc [12]. Fasten off.

Fasten off and weave tail through remaining sts to close the hand. Repeat on opposite side for second arm.

10. Assembly
Sew the white eye circles onto the upper front head and secure safety eyes in center.
Sew the pink lips across the lower face directly under the eyes.
Attach the dorsal fin along the center top and back of head down to the neck.
Sew the side fins onto the sides of head.

Attach the head securely onto the body.
Pull the swim trunks onto the body and secure with yarn stitches around the waist.
Place swim goggles around head/eyes if desired.
