Today, I will share the CUTEST “MOM & BABY animal plush” pattern of this year! Introducing the no-sew crochet baby sheep and Mother sheep plushies, crocheted using both fuzzy yarn for the fluffiest, life-like fur and chenille yarn for the rest. Learn how to crochet both these sheep amigurumi buddy plushies with glitter eyes and an innocent embroidered face with a step-by-step tutorial + a written pattern as well.

Since both are of the same size, it will also make an irresistible couple present. The learning time for crocheting this set of sheep plushies is much less than you think, as the Mother Sheep plushie is just an extension of the baby sheep plushie, which is crocheted in pink.

All we have to do is crochet those coiled horns separately in brown. Just like the crochet baby lamb plushie, you can choose different and unique colors such as pink, beige, off-white, and even red.

These are crocheted as square plushies, which make perfect desk buddies and small snugglers. I especially like their floppy ears. They also have a funny bobble stitch tail at the back. The legs and arms are also crocheted the same way. Now, continue reading if you have started thinking about the crochet plush sheep pattern!

Pattern to Crochet a Pair of Sheep Plushies

This project is a crochet toy with store-bought plush texture. You will make a square sheep. You will use fur yarn and soft yarn. You will make the body, legs, tail, face, and ears all in one piece. You will crochet from the bottom to the top.

Because the fur yarn hides the stitches, you will work on the inside out to make the fur show on the outside. You will push stuffing inside the body. You will put plastic eyes on the face. You can make horns and sew them on if you want a ram.
