Welcome to another part of “No-Sew Animal Plushies” for busy crocheters. Includes some of the CUTEST chubby animal plushies that can be learned through video tutorials. Baby dinosaur, bunny, octopus, spider, and whale, I have chosen the community-favorite animals, especially for summer.

The crochet plushies are already kinda huggable and soft, but with extra cotton, super bulky yarn, and chubby bodies, they will be even more so without increasing the size. In these designs, glittery, normal, and embroidered eyes are all used. So, try your favorite one as a present for sure!

Note for You: This is one of my discussions on new plushiewith step-by-step video tutorials. You can also see “The Cutest Crochet Big Plushie” and “Quick Plushies.”

Crochet A Dino Plushie

Images By: Hello Amigurumi

This is an extra chonky, no-sew baby dinosaur plushie crocheted using super bulky yarn and big glitter eyes. After crocheting the body from the bottom up, the back spikes will be crocheted into the body by working a pattern of chain, single crochet, and slip stitch.

You can also crochet the spikes in the 2nd color, such as white for contrast. Contrast is, however, mainly brought by using the eyes in yellow.

Other popular combos for this plushie include the green (main) and yellow (2nd), purple (main) and white (2nd), pink (main) and purple (2nd).

Crochet A Bunny Plushie

Surprisingly, this oh-so-cute square Miffy bunny plush is also no-sew, even with the long stuffed ears and the tail. The idea is to work from the ears down to the body and then to the tail, crocheting the four legs using the bobble stitch.

Yellow, the standard white, beige, and even light purple will work fine for this plushie.

It just has to be a light shade so the face embroidery in black may stand out. Sew a cross for the moth, two lines for each cheek, and basic eyes. Does not need support to stand, so crochet as a table buddy for your crochet desk.

Crochet An Octopus Plushie

The crochet mini octopus is one of my favorite plushies, as it is a stashbuster and makes an irresistible fidget softie. Luckily, this variation starts with a no-ring method and is crocheted from top to bottom with arms made after stuffing by surface-stitching.

The kawaii arms are crocheted by working in the FLO by working a pattern of slip stitch and (hdc, dc, dc) 8 times.

The eyes are made even cuter and life-like by embroidering the white part on one side. Red, seagreen, and blue are shown, but you can also crochet in purple, aqua, and even pink.

Crochet a Spider Plushie

This is UNDENIEABLY the easiest and cutest spider plushie with 8 chain stitch arms, glitter eyes, and a no-mouth face. Just crochet a no-sew round head and crochet the arms as you go. Also worked in a chain-2 loop with 8 single crochet in the first row.

I have seen a four-eyed chubby spider plushie and loved it. You can also attach two big eyes in the middle and two small eyes on the sides.

Also, embroider a basic smile using thin yarn. For Halloween, you can definitely choose black, orange, or purple, other than deep pink.

Crochet a Whale Plushie

From the SUMMER and SEA CREATURE series, I recommend this chubby whale plushie keychain. This requires an easy no-sew pattern using two colors of yarn, preferably in two shades of the same. Even the tail and the fins are crocheted as you go.

You can turn into a narwhal plushie by separately crocheting a horn and attaching it to the head. It should take no less than 30 minutes to put up. Definitely a perfect last-minute present and stress support toy.
