I am back with another CROCHET miniature goat plushie tutorial for this year, and this is the CUTEST of all, in my opinion. Introducing the adorable miniature plush goat (approximately 8 cm tall) that you can crochet using super-bulky plush yarn with a step-by-step tutorial. The project takes only 14 rounds to complete, making it exceptionally fast and quick. Makes a perfect charm festive gift as well. Wears a little bell as well, just like the previous plushies and amigurumi goat.

Crocheted in a seamless, one-piece construction from bottom to top, the limbs, tail, ears, and horns are worked directly into the rounds without requiring any sewing.

Finished with expressive embroidered facial details, sculpted eye sockets, a dainty bow, and an optional collar bell, this sweet plushie makes a pocket charm, backpack keychain, or quick gift. Now, continue reading for learning more about this plush goat project for all skill levels!

Special / Complex Stitch Guide: 3-dc Bobble (Hoof / Leg Stitch with Color Change)

The hooves in Round 3 are formed using a 3-double crochet cluster (bobble stitch) in brown directly integrated into the white body round:

  1. Prepare the Color Change: In the white single crochet immediately preceding the leg, insert hook and pull up a loop, but do not complete the stitch. Yarn over with the brown yarn and pull through both white loops on your hook to change color.

  2. First Incomplete Double Crochet: Yarn over with brown, insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops remain on hook).

  3. Second Incomplete Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert into the same stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops remain on hook).

  4. Third Incomplete Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert into the same stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (4 brown loops remain on hook).

  5. Close and Switch Color: Drop the brown working strand, pick up the white yarn, yarn over, and pull through all 4 loops on the hook.

  6. Lock the Bobble: Work the next single crochet in white as usual; push the brown cluster forward to create a rounded, distinct hoof.
