Let’s crochet a luxury party handbag with a bulky spiral-ribbing tube handle and a button strap following this method. The handle is attached to the bag’s body with 28mm metal rings. The recommended yarn for the handle is macrame cord, the same as that I use in my tutorials.
For the bag body, however, use a T-shirt yarn. Note that the one shown in the tutorial is available in all countries, so a regular T-shirt yarn should be a perfect alternative.
This bag has a rectangular base, too, so it measures 20cm x 15cm x 6cm. I like the alternating pattern of double crochet and half double crochet that leaves small holes and has cross stitch pattern. For the strap, a basic oval is crocheted. Wanna try?
Way #3: Crochet Sea Bag Pattern
This ribbed handbag purse with a custom round handle is an IRRESISTIBLY elegant formal bag. Unlike bag 2, it is crocheted using 2.2mm macrame cord entirely and has a simpler, non-ribbed handle that you can crochet in any length.
While this bag is crocheted by folding and sewing the sides of a crocheted piece, the round and wide shape of the bottom requires increases and decreases to be worked.
There is also a 4-rib panel in the middle that requires a dark shade of aqua or whatever color you choose. Overall, this is the best crochet bag for any special occasion!
Way #4: Crochet Patchwork Handbag
This is a beautiful clover patchwork square handbag with a Romanian cord handle attached through metal rings. Requires only shell stitch clusters worked in the rounds. You will also learn how to adjust the pattern to crochet it in two sizes:

Do market with this summer net handbag again with two Romanian cord (aka double shrimp braid) handles. On the body panels, circular mesh texture is crocheted, while for the base, square mesh is used.
The body texture is unique and looks pretty elegant. The handle is crocheted such that it is adjustable in length, so you can use it as a shoulder bag.
