Tutorial to Crochet a Toucan Plushie (I call it the Colorful Bird Plush)
This tutorial demonstrates how to crochet a small amigurumi toucan. First, crochet the body in rounds using black yarn, switching to white for the chest patch.
Next, crochet two red bobble stitches directly on the body to create the feet, insert the safety eyes, stuff the body with fiberfill, and close the base.
Then, crochet a color-blocked pointed beak, stuff it lightly, and crochet two petal-edged wings and a ribbed flat tail. Finally, sew the beak between the eyes, attach the wings to each side, and sew the tail to the back.

Special / Complex Stitch Techniques
Bobble Stitch (BO) with Color Change (Toucan Feet – Round 13)
The feet are made directly on the body by working a 5-double-crochet bobble stitch using red yarn, then switching back to black:
Change to Red: In the last black single crochet before the foot, insert the hook, pull up a loop, drop the black yarn, yarn over with red yarn, and pull through both loops.
Make the Bobble (5 incomplete double crochets):
Yarn over with red, insert the hook into the designated stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops remain).
Repeat this in the exact same stitch 4 more times until you have 6 loops on your hook.
Finish the Bobble and Switch Back:
Yarn over with the black yarn and pull through all 6 red loops on the hook to close the cluster and lock the foot into place.
Continue with regular black single crochets in the next stitch.
