The most common and, of course, the best way to use a crochet flower is to put it in a room vase or in a bouquet wrap.

While you can turn any crochet flower into a vase decoration by adding a crochet leaf and wired stem, it is always suggested to look at the flower patterns that are specifically designed for that purpose.

With that said, if you are looking for some recommended patterns to crochet a vase flower, don’t miss the list below.

From the crochet tulip to the ping pong flower, daisy to Zinnia, you can learn to crochet common flowers for spring decoration and gifting. These are eternal, colorful, and for sure, irresistibly elegant.

Crochet A Tulip Flower

Many of you may already have crocheted an amigurumi tulip using the “Stuff, Pinch, and Sew” method. So, this oh-so-cute Hello Kitty tulip is my 100% recommendation for Valentine’s Day gifts.

If you still want to crochet the traditional tulip for spring, you are welcome, as the base pattern remains the same.

To have that adorable Hello Kitty face on the tulip, add oval eyes, an embroidered nose, whiskers, and a miniature crochet bow. You can crochet the Hello Kitty tulip along with the regular tulips to make a bouquet arrangement for the vase. Wanna crochet?

Crochet A Daisy Flower

Let’s crochet an irresistibly elegant common daisy flower for a vase with this pattern. This is a 12-petal daisy with a long stem and a simple daisy leaf instead of the usual basic leaf.

You will want to wrap the craft wire with a thin thread using a glue gun for assistance. There is a stuffed centre, but the leaves are flat and simpler.

There is definitely no limit in yarn colors, as you can crochet the petals in pink, purple, or classic white. To have a perfect arrangement, crochet one with a smaller stem. Crochet it this spring for sure.

Want to learn the easiest method to crochet the intimidating, ping pong flower? Follow this clever pattern to crochet a beautiful Ping Pong flower for a vase by crocheting and wrapping a flat piece of crochet.

The classical method, however, first requires crocheting a round base and then surface-stitching the petals around it.

With this method, you can have a last-minute crochet ping pong that is not perfectly round, but enough to be called a life-like Ping Pong. Having a pair, you can crochet an irresistible present with a poseable wired leaf.

If you are comfortable with sewing, don’t miss this method to crochet a Perfect Tulip for a vase. That is to crochet the tulip bloom from a ribbed rectangle.

This method will let you crochet a tulip that has almost the same shape as if you crochet with the “Stuff, Pinch and Sew” method.

However, this tulip has a beautiful ribbed texture and, of course, is worked in flat rows. This is perfect when you want to use your practice retengles. So, try this quick tulip for sure!

Crochet A Zinnia (Version 2)

Images By: Crochet Everyday

Let’s crochet a perfectly accurate but super easy Zinnia flower vase with this pattern. There are two tiers of the 9 petals each, a wired stem, and a long leaf.

Designing the centre of the Zinnia for crocheting is challenging, as in the real Zinnia, there are so many segments that this part has. So, for beginners, the designer has crocheted only a stuffed round with chain and slip stitch edging. Yes, that’s it!

I recommend crocheting the petals of the Zinnia in purple instead of light red. You can crochet one as a present for friends, teachers, or for couples.

Crochet A Poppy

In red, blue, and yellow, let’s crochet a really elegant bouquet arrangement of crochet poppies with this pattern. We will crochet a medium-sized poppy flower with kinda smaller stems with a small appliqued centre.

Have to use a combination of double and triple crochet for a “papery” look of a poppy petal. This is my favorite crochet poppy ever, and it is definitely not difficult to crochet.
