Costume Type 1: Pig Onesie
A Onesie with a hoodie can be considered a starter doll costume. However, after you have this pig plushie in overalls, you can transform it into a dino, capybara, and Lotso bear cosplay.
Because you will want to minimize the extra crocheting, you have to follow a color pattern on the base for the legs to the belly. That way, you only have to sew the hoodie, straps, and ribbing.

The Variations
Learned how to crochet a pig in a onesie? Try these three character variations for this lovely plushie:
1. Lotso Pig Plushie
Also known as a strawberry bear, Lotso bear looks so cute. To crochet this variation, just be sure your base costume is in purply pink. Then you only have to crochet the ears, muzzle, and nose of the Lotso.
All parts should be crocheted using velvet yarn. You should attach the face to the top of the head, not on the front, and also attach safety eyes.

2. Dinosaur Pig Plushie
The baby dinosaur is an inspiration for this pig plushie costume. Cannot think of a better way to incorporate the dinosaur cosplay in plushies than this.
The colors (green, yellow, and white), the features to stress (teeth and spikes), and every detail are in check.

3. Capybara Pig Plushie
Crochet a circle as a muzzle, a pair of rounds as ears and embroider the eyes to crochet this capybara costume for pig plushie. It is simple and cute. Just be sure you crocheted the plushie using light brown as it can’t be undone in this pattern.

Costume Type 2: Pig Bikini Set
The costume type 2 is funny and summer special. Let’s crochet a bikini set for pig plushie including a ruffle sun hat, bottoms and a bikini. You will want to crochet it as a buddy for beach trolling.
You will need 1.5 rolls of velvet yarn. For the bikini, you would have to crochet two 3D puff flowers and sew them along like in an accessory.

Costume Type 3: Capybara Hoodie & More
Maybe you want a removeable pig costume that can be put on any plushie. Try this set of capybara string hat and a jumper. This one will have the face in the front and the same sleeping capybara.
You can secure the hat using the chain strings and also remove the overalls without need for buttons.
