To crochet a flower coaster, there are four irresistible methods to choose from. That is a bouquet coaster, a flower stitch coaster, a 3D coaster, and a doily coaster. Today, I will show some really elegant designs for all these crochet flower variations that you can crochet this spring.

As for flower types, I have chosen sunflower, tulip, carnation, daisy, and also Lily of the Valley.

They will undoubtedly turn your coffee table into a welcoming spot for spring. When not in use, they still spread the charm as bouquets and colorful decorations.

Using a flower stitch is one of the easiest and fastest methods to crochet a flower coaster. Let’s crochet an elegant tulip stitch coaster with this pattern.

In this coaster, the designer has used the traditional tulip stitch by combining the puff stitch and the V-stitch.

For the middle part in dull white, there will be three rows of single crochet joined rounds. In the last two rounds, we will change the color and work on the tulip stitch.

You can also crochet it with the rose stitch or strawberry stitch. As for colors, the purple tulip is unmatched.

Bouquet coaster has been one of the trendiest coaster ideas for spring. It can be crocheted with roses, tulips, and even Lavender. But not many thought of crocheting it with the ruffle-duffle carnation flower.

So, this spring, give this flower coaster a shot, finished with carnations in alternating three shades of purple.

Additionally, it features spiral lace holes in the white part, making it even more irresistible. You will want to crochet the carnation blooms as you go. So, it’s no-sew. Will you crochet it?

This flower bouquet coaster features an enhanced 3D tulip stitch and elegant spiral ribbing in the middle rounds. With the mini tulip flowers crocheted all around in the last round, it can be nicely wrapped into a cone bouquet.

The previous one, on the other hand, needed a basket to be displayed as a flower arrangement.

You can knot it with the Satin ribbon or chain stitch bow when not in use.

The use of blue instead of dull white in the middle part is really a nice choice. I would recommend sticking to it.

You can also crochet an authentic bouquet coaster using flat flowers such as sunflowers and daisies. Let’s crochet this sunflower coaster for summer, featuring a beautiful granny stitch middle, lacy leaves, and appliques of basic sunflowers.

You can also crochet a ribbed basket show it more elegantly. Normally, you will want to use a flower with tube-shaped blooms like the rose or tulip.

But this design has opened a new door. With the clever way to place and arrange the flowers, after turning into a bouquet, no flower will overlap. Wanna try?

Any design that shows a flower plant lying on a round coaster is called a 3D coaster. The perfect use of surface-stitching, sewing, and no-sew techniques creates this irresistible illusion.

So, let’s crochet this carnation flower 3D coaster, too, with an easy and simple pattern. The wavy spiral holes, two-colored carnation bloom, crab stitch border and a pair of leaves make it unique.

Since the bloom is at the edge, you can safely place a mug of any size onto it. This will make your spring really refreshing.

The 2nd very popular crochet bouquet coaster variation was the Lily of the Valley bouquet coaster. In fact, many might have seen the first of this type through this pattern.

If you have not crocheted it yet, follow this bellflower coaster tutorial. This tutorial is highly authentic and preserves every detail of the classic Lily coaster.

You can also crochet it with alternating yellow and orange or hot pink and baby pink. The bell flower will be crocheted using the “Puff stitch” method, which is my favorite.

Doily flower coasters have almost countless variations on the internet. That’s because you are not restricted to colors, any specific flower, or a crochet stitch.

Below, you can learn how to make one of my favorite doily flower coasters using blue, navy blue, white, and yellow colors.

In the middle, it needs puff stitch with chain skipping, and in the last round, the shell stitch. It’s not difficult and can be finished within 30 minutes. Make it a part of your home decoration.
