Prepare yourself for summer in the least time by crocheting these summer tops with the easiest construction. These are definitely not less elegant, though. As you can still have a crochet top with ribbed or shell edging, colorworks, and a viral oversized look.
You should certainly start with the simple designs like the ones below, as they are quicker and beginner-friendly. We shall have the cropped top and cinched mid tops, too.
Crochet A Scallop Top
Crocheted with 100% cotton yarn and featuring shell edging, this solid summer top is breathable and elegant. It is definitely not difficult to crochet, requiring only 2 double crochet and 5 double crochet clusters.
Also, double crochet is among the six most basic crochet stitches, and it is worked throughout using just this stitch. The pattern is flexible enough to crochet this top in extra small to 3XL.
Only work the shell stitch around the sleeves and bottom of the body to keep it simple. It should be a little fitted but not too much.

The only crocheted beach top you need for this summer is this oversized crochet top. This has the easiest and most clever construction we have and will talk about.
That is by sewing four crochet rectangles (two for sleeves and two for the body). Since it should not be fitted based on the body type, the sewing needle also runs straight.

I am not sure if it would have looked that elegant without the ribbed edging around the sleeve and bottom.

Crochet A Half-Sleeve Top
This is an all-weather crochet crop top with classical ruffle sleeves and a fitted body. If you want to crochet it for summer, use cotton yarn for breathability.
Otherwise, you can use wool or acrylic for warmth. It’s not a tee as you have to extend the sleeves to half of the arm to make a wide and ruffled portion.
You can crochet it top down in rounds, as a single piece. It is still easy and a must-have crochet top.
Crochet A Beautiful Top
For a little bit of coquette aesthetic, crochet this crop top named Magnolia Sweetheart Top. It has a cinched, sweetheart neckline with a pull-down string below the bust.
It is a Tee and worked from top down to the bottom by working in the rounds. Because of the way it is crocheted, you can try it on as you go to find the perfect fit.
Also, the designer note is that it should not necessarily be a crop top. You can definitely add more rounds.
