If you want to show affection and dedication to someone, present something bigger and cute like a crochet plushie doll. Below are my 100% recommendations on crocheting a gift doll plushie this time, including some animals other than classics, too.

I have provided links to video tutorials with on-screen English instructions, each of which will help you much in this journey. Learn how to crochet a teddy bear plushie, a bunny, and now butterly doll and a chick doll, too.

For bunny in particular, I have 3 designs to show you as I rank it as the 2nd most chosen plushie for gifts. These are low-sew, quick, and irresistibly elegant.

Crochet A Butterfly Plushie

For spring, let’s crochet this kawaii butterfly buddy using both chenille and cotton yarn. This is a medium-sized butterfly doll plushie (about 16cm tall). It has smaller wings compared to the size of the body to give it a baby butterfly look.

For this reason, you will want to use a thinner yarn in the wing and anetenae. Providing the visible stitches, this yarn makes the wings more attractive than the body.

The choice of off-white and yellow yarn also plays a role in the charm of the wings. Crochet it with a bow tie, red embroidery cheeks, and brown eyebrows.

Crochet A Rabbit Plushie

Today, I have 3 designs to crochet a rabbit plush that will make outstanding birthday presents. First, let’s crochet this oh-so cute standing rabbit plushie with a small bow necktie.

The legs, body, and head of this doll are crocheted as a single piece, and only the arms and ears are sewn on later. So, I like call it the Low-Sew bunny plushie.

My favorite part is the kawaii plastic eyes, the muzzle, and the long ears is bent, that adds much cuteness. You should be able to crochet one for yourself within 2 hours.

Crochet A Chick Plushie

Of all the crochet chick plushies I have talked about, this crochet plush chick doll is the kawaiiest. And the catch is that you can use the base of this doll for so many different animals, from a crochet bunny to a grizzly bear.

To make it cuter, the designer has used bigger glittery eyes and worked embroidery around them.

There are also sewn eyebrows. For smaller parts like the comb, beak, and wattle, you will want to use thin cotton yarn. It’s a not-to-be-missed gift for Thanksgiving and birthdays.

Let’s crochet an irresistibly cute sitting bunny plushie with this pattern. This is a viral variation of a crochet Miffy bunny plushie and requires beige yarn instead of white.

With a low-sew and quick construction, you can definitely crochet a pair as your table buddies. Including the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth, everything needs only yarn.

My favorite part is the round tail that looks a bit funny and pretty cute. Make it a Valentine’s Day or a couple’s present.

Crochet A Bear Plushie

Talking about the crochet gifts, I couldn’t resist adding this crochet teddy bear plushie for girls. This gonna be a big grizzly bear plushie with a ruffle collar and a bow that shares its base with the chick plushie.

I 100% recommend that you learn this base as you can easily customize it for many other animals. I love the yellow and brown color combo and don’t think there could be a better one than that.

Whether it’s Valentine’s Day or a birthday, it would be cherished by the receiver for sure. Wanna crochet?

Learn the Base Pattern

Learn the Bear

With some effort, I was able to make sense of some part of the pattern:

Ears (Make 2)

  • R1: 6 sc in the magic ring.

  • Join: Sl st to the first st.

  • R2: 2 increases in each stitch.

  • R3: (1 sc, inc) all the way around

  • Join along using a slip stitch to make a semi-circle ear.

Muzzle (Nose)

Use light-colored yarn.

  • Foundation: Ch 4.

  • R1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in that st. 2 sc in the next st. 4 sc in the last (first) st. (Total 8 stitches).

  • R2: 1 sc in each of the 8 loops around the piece.

  • Detailing: Use dark brown thin yarn to sew the nose line through the middle and fix the shape by hand.

For collar:

Just crochet a long piece of single crochet or make a round oval and wrap it around.

For bow:

Crochet a rectangle and knot from the middle.

Crochet A Dressed Bunny Plushie

Dressed plushies are twice as charming and little girls’ favorites. So, with this pattern, let’s crochet a big bunny girl plushie in a removable and elegant ruffle dress.

It also wears bow ear ties that you can crochet and knot from a row of chain stitches. The base pattern this bunny plushie requires is a general-purpose animal doll base.

You will want to use a normal cotton yarn for a detailed and good-looking dress. It’s really so cute to fall in love with.
